A Good Restaurant in Homs
If you’re going to make your home somewhere, you want some decent places to eat nearby. People are coming back to Homs to try and rebuild their lives. Cello restaurant first opened in 2011 about 3 weeks before the war started–not much of a grant opening. Georges, the original owner’s cousin, is working to keep Cello open for good. We had an amazing lunch here, along with fantastic service. There are still a lot of destroyed and vacant buildings in homes, jobs and money are still tough to find, but here is a sign of new life–and new normal.
