The gift of doing four months of speaking gigs is the beautiful people we meet along the way. Here in Tucson, we were greeted at the airport by Peggy, this 85-year-old former missionary to Zambia.
This woman has lived an amazing life of service and ministry, and still is able to say “Please pray that I figure out what God wants me to do. The fact that I’m still alive means I’m alive for a reason.
We are grateful for the people in our lives like Peggy, who has been praying for us and supporting us in many different ways.
“Peggy is the reason you’re here,” the Associate Pastor told me after I finished speaking. “The Mission Committee has always been active in local issues, not global, but Peggy wouldn’t give up. We’re sure glad we listened to her!”
Thank you, Peggy!
